If you are redoing algebra you might want to check out Algebra and Trigonometry: Functions and Applications by Paul A. Foerster. It covers intermediate algebra for high schoolers but from a much more intellectually engaging angle. This is the book I usually recommend to precocious math students who are studying on their own. You can purchase it on amazon but I believe there are also copies floating around the internet somewhere.
