One thing to consider is that bias always exists. For example, there is no such thing as an algorithm without bias (which often gets thrown around in tethics world :) So when one wants to "get rid of bias"... you really just want to remove the unconscious bias that doesn't match your value set. That's how I see bias... so then it's a matter of being conscious of what you believe and putting that into practice.

Far simpler to remember the brain teaser “ a man and his son get in a terrible auto accident, both are rushed to the hospital the ER Dr. assigned to the boy says “I cannot operate on him he’s my son” ..HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE....this will permanently broaden your future perspectives on gender ..I actually believe it creates a new neural pathway as it always seems to come to the forefront of your thoughts just when its most needed.

Not to belabor the point but there’s a great deal more value in this brain teaser than the superficial realizations it reveals ... however it goes deep into the woods quickly... In short. (not really possible)

It illuminates the falseness of the current binary narrative

It illuminates the negative residual affects on critical thinking this binary narrative has.

It illuminates how powerful “go along to get along” is because it’s hard wired into our base makeup ..and exploiting this hard wired characteristic as the source of strength behind the binary narrative

and lastly how detrimental the politicization of issues is to their actual resolution.

All this from a simple brain teaser you say.

Yes actually because the conclusion is inescapable..gender bias is NOT a function of gender... several studies demonstrate this but for me just parsing out who answers the brain teaser correctly or even incorrectly..tells all you need to know about what ISN’T the source of this issue.
