Great article. I loved both the Intro section (The "Sorry, shit's random" line did get a chuckle) and the excerpts from Michael Mauboussin (bookmarked to read in a bit). So many random moments -- where you're born, who you're born too, what opportunities arise (or disappear), and so on. However, there is something to the idea that agency plays a part too. The question then becomes "what is the mix?" which I think varies from person to person. Probably doesn't matter much, but hey, I'm retired so I like interesting topics to think about! Thanks.
